Captive Raised Fish & Coral Links

Although still a small percentage, the variety of marine animals raised or bred in captivity has grown rapidly in the last decade thanks to new technologies and dedicated responsible aquarists. Ask your fish store about the availability of these animals and reduce the plundering, poisoning & destruction of our precious coral reefs.

Whether you decide to keep fish harvested from the ocean, captive raised, or both, please try to learn about your new aquisitions and the care they require before you buy so we can all continue to enjoy and advance this fascinating hobby!
